Jet's Pizza was born from a simple obsession — the perfect Detroit-style deep dish. Our founder, Marcus "Jet" Holloway, grew up eating brick-oven rectangular pizzas in Michigan and vowed to bring that authentic experience to the Southwest.
In 2009, Marcus opened the first Jet's Pizza location in Tempe, AZ, with nothing more than a handful of secret family recipes, a secondhand industrial oven, and an unshakeable belief that great pizza changes everything. Word spread fast. Lines grew long. The community embraced us.
Today we remain proudly independent, single-location, and fiercely committed to the same quality that started it all — hand-stretched dough, premium ingredients, and cheese caramelized to crispy perfection on every edge.

Marcus "Jet" Holloway opens the first Jet's Pizza location at 1835 E Guadalupe Rd, Tempe. Day one sellout — the deep dish dream becomes reality.
Jet's Pizza earns the Phoenix New Times "Best Pizza in the Valley" award — our first major recognition and a turning point for the brand.
We double our kitchen footprint and launch the full menu including specialty calzones, salads, and our legendary Turbo Crust deep dish.
We launch our online ordering platform, bringing Jet's deep dish directly to homes across Tempe and surrounding Mesa neighborhoods.
We formalize our catering service, partnering with local businesses, ASU events, and family celebrations across the greater Phoenix metro area.
